A Year of Growth & Grace

0

Before the year closes, I want you to do something. Now I know, you already have enough to do but hear mi out.

I want you to take a pause. Breathe deeply. Forget about resolutions and never-ending to-do lists for a second. Instead, think about this: You’ve made it through every single thing that came your way this year. Rather than focusing on regrets or frustrations, take a moment to acknowledge yourself. Give yourself credit. Shower yourself with grace—for everything you’ve endured and for how far you’ve come. Don’t end the year feeling pressured to renovate your life.

Ask yourself:

  1. What is weighing me down that I can leave behind in this year?
Maybe it’s the struggle to say no when you should, or the grip of self-doubt, the fight of perfectionism, or a habit that’s no good for you. Whatever it is, release it. Let it go and make room for the fresh, exciting growth that awaits you.
  2. What do I want to invite into the New Year?
Maybe it’s time to set stronger boundaries, embrace new opportunities, cultivate connections that light you up, or finally prioritize the self-care you deserve. Even if you choose just one powerful change that aligns with the person you are becoming and start making it real, you will be on your way to becoming the person and obtaining the life you desire. You don’t need to do everything all at once, today. Just take one step forward.

Let’s step into the New Year with intention. Let’s intentionally leave behind what no longer serves us and carry forward only the things that ignite our spirits. But most of all, as you look back on how far you’ve come and gaze ahead to where you’re going, don’t let your thoughts be filled with “would’ve, could’ve, should’ve.” Give yourself grace. You’ve made it through a rough year, and you’re ‘growing’ to be even more amazing. (pun intended)
